Estate Planning & Real Estate Paralegal
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a paralegal to join our talented team who is well organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable with the willingness and ability to learn and implement a defined prioritization system. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of experience as a paralegal and can assist with case planning, development, management, legal research, drafting legal documents, and collecting and compiling information. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the following areas of law:
- Wills, Trusts, and the probate court system,
- Experience in real estate law, business transactions, and entity formations.
Responsibilities:
- Client Intake,
- Support with drafting Wills, Trusts, and other Estate Planning and probate forms,
- Support with Entity formations and registrations with the Secretary of State,
- Support with drafting commercial and residential leases and contracts,
- Effectively organizing and maintaining client files on a case management system
- Monitor and calendar deadlines.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 4+ years of job experience as a paralegal in the field of Estate Planning, Business Law, and/or Real Estate Law.
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Clio (or other case management systems), and Adobe PDF.
- Skilled at meeting strict deadlines under significant time pressure.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with various types of clients.
- Fast thinker/quick learner.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently, and balance conflicting priorities.

Schedule:
