JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking a skilled real estate attorney to join our team. Our ideal applicant will have 5 years of real estate litigation experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law. You must have a current license and exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Advise and counsel clients on real estate matters, including sales transactions, disputes, zoning, subdivision, and frauds involving real estate disclosures or mortgages
• Litigate real estate disputes in court when necessary
• Draft sale and transfer of title contracts
• Draft routine leases and amendments
• Negotiate real estate agreements
• Write and file claims, motions, and court briefs

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in real estate experience at a law firm
• Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
• Comfortable using or learning to use Case Management Software
• Working knowledge of title insurance, land use, business law, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
• Ethical, accountable, professional
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
