Real Estate Law Attorney
JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a skilled real estate attorney to join our team. Our ideal applicant will have 5 years of real estate litigation experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law. You must have a current license and exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and counsel clients on real estate matters, including sales transactions, disputes, zoning, subdivision, and frauds involving real estate disclosures or mortgages
- Litigate real estate disputes in court when necessary
- Draft sale and transfer of title contracts
- Draft routine leases and amendments
- Negotiate real estate agreements
- Write and file claims, motions, and court briefs
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in real estate experience at a law firm
- Licensed to practice in the state of Texas
- Comfortable using or learning to use Case Management Software
- Working knowledge of title insurance, land use, business law, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
- Ethical, accountable, professional
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
