Brooke Wilson is a native Texan and grew up in Fort Worth. Brooke studied psychology and Spanish at Texas Tech University and graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s of Arts in 2006 and received her Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in 2009.
Brooke first began her career in family law as a third-year law school student and quickly realized that helping families during some of their worst times and protecting the rights of children was the right path for her. Brooke has continued to practice family law in Tarrant County since 2009 gaining invaluable experience and developing relationships with the courts, judges, and other attorneys that enable her to effectively guide her clients to the best possible outcome whatever their case may be.
Brooke takes an honest and caring approach to advising her clients. Having gone through a difficult divorce several years ago, Brooke knows first-hand how overwhelming and stressful the process is for her clients. Brooke strives to provide her clients with the knowledge and options they need to allow them to make the best decisions for themselves and their families moving forward. Most family law cases are best handled with a tailored agreement that allows families to heal post-divorce and find their new “normal”. Not every case is right for settlement and Brooke is a fierce advocate for her clients in court. Don’t let her kindness fool you, Brooke just fights for her clients with a smile on her face.
As a single Mom, Brooke empathizes with the struggles parents face when learning to parent and co-parent post-separation and can provide insight and advice to her clients beyond their legal questions. She is able to relate to her clients in a way that allows her to be there for her clients outside of the courtroom and help them find ways to recover and salvage their relationships following the litigation process. Being a single mom has also given Brooke the patience she needs when dealing with difficult opposing counsels and opposing parties.
Brooke lives in Fort Worth raising her young daughter and niece and their rescue dogs. When she isn’t fighting for her clients, you’ll find Brooke spending time with her girls and with family and friends. She also enjoys reading and traveling when she can find the time.
